Cellulite in Men – Does it Happen?

Wondering if cellulite in men is common? Cellulite is mostly a problem found in women, but men can get cellulite too. Do you want to get rid of those lumps and bumps that appear under your skin? Or do you simply want a thinner, more attractive physique? Whatever your goal is, learning more about what causes cellulite can help you figure out how to get rid of it.

Cellulite is the display of fatty deposits under the skin. Cellulite is mostly harmless, although in some rare cases it can cause health problems. Everybody can be a victim to cellulite accumulation, and it doesn’t matter what race, age, sex, or body type you are. If you’re not careful with your diet and workout regimen, you’ll always be susceptible to cellulite.

It was once thought that the principal cause of cellulite accumulation is obesity. However as we study cellulite more, we find that it is the weakening of blood vessels that are important to circulation in the body. Cellulite in men is less likely because they have fat cells that are deeper beneath the skin than those in women. Fat cells in men are also structured differently than fat cells in women.

Though cellulite formation can be prevented by maintaining a healthy diet plan, exercising on a daily basis, and drinking plenty of water, cellulite accumulation is sometimes inevitable. This is due to the fact that appearance of cellulite is often based on your genes. Some parents who have cellulite themselves have the tendency to pass it on to their children. Other main causes of cellulite formation include lack of exercise, lack of water intake, and a poor diet.

There are a variety of ways to get rid of cellulite, and exercising is probably the best idea. Exercising burns excess calories, consequently burning fat and helping cut down on cellulite. Toned muscles provide a smooth place for the skin cells to rest – this can help improve the appearance of cellulite. Exercise has many benefits -it helps blood circulate more freely by eliminating fat around the arteries. It will also help you feel better by improving the shape of your body, toning your muscles, and eliminate unwanted overall body fat.

Liposuction is another method that has proven to be succesful for some people who want to get rid of their cellulite. Liposuction is a surgical operation designed to remove fat from different parts of the body. It should be noted however that like any other surgery, liposuction is associated with risks and could result in death. It is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle after the surgery, or you run the chance of seeing cellulite come back.

There are also many synthetic pills out there that claim to get rid of cellulite within a certain amount of time. One of the more popular brands of these pills is Cellasene. Skeptical scientists say that taking these pills isn’t advisable due to the fact that they may cause side effects that could damage the body.

Overall, exercise coupled with a healthy lifestyle is still the best way to get rid or prevent cellulite in men. Exercise will also help clear out blocked arteries and improve blood circulation. Drink enough water to clean your body system. And maintain a healthy diet to reduce fat blockage and water retention.

Cellulite in men can be a little easier to deal with because men develop muscles more easily due to the large amount of testosterone in their bodies. But this doesn’t mean you can ignore the condition completely – painful cellulite can lead to other medical conditions down the line if left untreated, regardless of what your sex is. If your experiencing pain due to cellulite, make sure to seek medical attention immediately.

Cellulite Causes and Remedies

Cellulite causes a lot of physical and emotional stress to sufferers, especially women since women are much more likely to get cellulite than men. Cellulite is basically accumulated fat under certain spots of the body, such as the thighs, the hips, and the belly. Needless to say, such problems are difficult to hide with clothing, and can be a source of embarrassment.

Cellulite can be caused by many things including:

#1 ” Heredity. Cellulite is often due to poor genes among other things. You are more likely to get cellulite if your parents and grandparents also suffered from it. It’s an unfortunate skin problem that many people deal with on a daily basis.

Did your mother or grandmother successfully got rid of their cellulite problem? If so, then don’t hesitate to ask them how they did it. It’s likely that what worked for them will work for you ” after all, some things might work better for some people than others!

#2 ” Medication. Various medications can cause hormonal changes in the body. Sometimes these changes can accelerate the accumulation of fat in the body. Such medications include birth control pills, diet pills, and sleeping pills. It’s always a good idea to check with your doctor before taking any medications. This is especially important if your family has a history of cellulite.

#3 ” Smoking. Cellulite is a condition that’s affected not only by the buildup of fat under the skin, but also by the condition of the skin itself. Smoking doesn’t only cause lung cancer and heart problems ” it also weakens the skin and thus making cellulite look even worse. It’s never a good idea to smoke. Poor skin with cellulite is just another reason to kick the habit soon.

#4 ” Bad eating habits. Eating too much junk and fast food as well as drinking too much caffeine and alcohol is one of the most prominent causes of cellulite. It’s not unusual to see kids as young as 14 with cellulite these days, mainly because good eating habits aren’t taught well enough at home and school. Unfortunately, there are other problems caused by bad eating habits ” you can also add obesity, migraines, vertigo, impotence, and hypertension to the list.

The best foods to counter cellulite involves a diet of much less junk food including fried food, fast food, processed food ” and more of the good stuff. Green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits are always good. You can still have junk food every now and then. Just remember to balance it with good food and exercise every week.

#5 ” Bad drinking habits. Believe it or not, the amount of water you drink in a single day can also affect cellulite. Water is needed by the body to flush toxins out of the body regularly. Some toxins are the leading triggers of cellulite. If you don’t drink enough water in a day, too many toxins will be left in the body, and cellulite buildup will be inevitable.

Make sure you drink at least eight glasses of water everyday to keep your skin hydrated. Water will also keep your skin from drying, improving the overall appearance of even your fatty bulges. Fruit juice is also okay, but be careful ” some brands of fruit juice have the same amount (sometimes even more) of calories as soda. Fruit juice is also loaded with sugar which can lead to excess fat build up on your body.

Now that you know about the most common cellulite causes and how to address them, the next thing you need to remember is to start slow. It can take time to develop healthy habits. Eventually you will start to notice improvements with your skin.

Does Milk Cause Cellulite?

I definitely enjoy my diary products, but I have often wondered ” does milk cause cellulite? Is it possible to improve the appearance of your skin simply by making a dietary change?

Lots of people have often wondered ” does milk cause cellulite? While some of us would not enjoy giving up our daily dairy products, others might find this to be worth a shot if it means no more cellulite!

One of the biggest controversies surrounding milk is the amount of hormones contained in milk we consume. Hormones given to the cows to enable them to produce more milk are often passed on into the milk we drink. Many feel that these extra hormones can do damage to our bodies when we regularly ingest them.

Since cellulite responds to hormonal changes with in the body, it would make sense that more hormones in the body would trigger an increase in the amount of cellulite. Some studies have shown that a reduction of cellulite was found in women who stopped using diary products. It took about 6 to 12 months for these women to notice a difference in their skin.

For many women who are desperate to get rid of their cellulite and have tried many different products in the past with no success, a simple diet change may be the solution they are looking for. This can be hard to accomplish however. Diary products are found in many foods we eat ” just try eating something that doesnt contain milk or cheese!

A an easy solution to regular cows milk is to use goats milk. Goats milk doesnt usually have the hormones found in regular cows milk. Be careful with yogurt too as yogurt is made from cow’s milk and can contain hormones.

Other people may feel that there is no true answer to the question does milk cause cellulite. They feel that this topic has not been studied much and therefore no scientific conclusion can be drawn. While this point is valid, it should not be used to dissuade those who are interested in eliminating diary from their diets in order to get smooth skin.

Not only are women asking does milk cause cellulite, but many are wondering if milk products are the source of some of their other problems as well. These can include things such as digestive issues, weight gain and acne. Going off diary products may be helpful for many reasons, not just cellulite.

In conclusion, only you can decide if milk really does effect your cellulite. If you decide to stay away from diary products, make sure you give yourself enough time to see results. A week or so probably will not cut it as our bodies can be slow to change. You will most likely need to dedicate 6 months to a year towards this goal. While after this amount of time you may not find any results with your cellulite, you may notice that you do not crave or tolerate milk products any longer.
